GTA Comes Alive Unable to Load

Hello

 

So I've been using GTA Comes Alive fine until the recent GTA V update. Now whenever I try to load the plugin through RPH I get this

Plugin GTA Comes Alive! in assembly GTAComesAlive.dll (GTAComesAlive, Version=2.1.6457.40586, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null) does not have a suitable entry point.
[15/09/2017 18:26:27.346] Parameter name: assemblyPath

 

Any suggestions? I've tried reinstalling/downloading the plugin with no luck. The plugin is in the right folder (Plugins > GTA Comes Alive) so I'm really not sure what could be causing this.

New update should fix this issue.

Hi @ntmsmb,

 

You should have 3 files in your Grand Theft Auto V > Plugins directory, as shown in the below image.

 

 

The only file that should be in Grand Theft Auto V > Plugins > GTA Comes Alive is the events.xml file.

Just looking through my folders now, and it appears that I also only have the three files in my Grand Theft Auto V > Plugins directory, as shown in the image below.

 

The same with my Grand Theft Auto V > Plugins > GTA Comes Alive folder, the only file is the events.xml file.

 

It should also be noted that GTA Comes Alive is not in my list of plugins to launch on startup in the RPH Settings.

Just tested on my end and got the same issue, full log at https://pastebin.com/HdpUJju4.

 

Might be we're both doing it wrong @ntmsmb haha, will have to give Darkmyre some time to have a look at it and get back to us.

 

For the record I have only been using LSPDFR Comes Alive now, as it allows more control over ambient events while patrolling in LSPDFR. The standalone version is still good if you'd like the events to occur without being on duty within LSPDFR however. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this  @Darkmyre )

I probably screwed something up, this latest update was a quick job to make it compatible with the latest DarkAPI. Will take a look next day or two and get it sorted.
